अगली क्लास के बारे में बताता हूं। वो थी वैल्डिंग क्लास जिसके टीचर ठाकुर जी थे। उनका पूरा नाम तो मै भूल गया हूं। लेकिन सभी होम के स्टाफ और लडके उन्हें ठाकुर जी कहकर बुलाते थे। वो होम के सबसे वरिष्ठ स्टाफ में से एक थे। यहां तक कि सुप्रिदेंट से भी ज्यादा उनकी सैलरी होती थी। लेकिन पोस्ट में सुप्रिडेट से नीचे थे। वे वैल्डिंग सिखाते थे। एक वीक में सिर्फ एक ही बार क्लास लगती थी। ज्यादा तर उनकी क्लास बंद ही रहती थी। अगर क्लास खुलती भी थी तो कोई जाता भी नहीं था। एक बार मै गया उनके पास कि सर मुझे भी वैल्डिंग सीखनी है तो ठाकुर सर ने मुझसे पूरा क्लास साफ़ करवाया और अगले दिन से आने को कहा जब मै अगले दिन गया तो फिर से मुझसे क्लास साफ़ करवाया और अगले दिन फिर आने को कहा अगले दिन मै फिर गया तो फिर क्लास साफ़ करवाया और अगले दिन आने को कहा लेकिन कुछ भी नहीं सिखाया उसके बाद मै दुबारा क्लास में नहीं गया उनकी और मुझे समझ में आ गया कि और लडके उनकी क्लास में क्यो नही जाते वैल्डिंग सीखने के लिए। हाईट उनकी छोटी थी। और वो हमेशा साइकल से आते थे। उनके पैर साइकल पर पूरा नहीं पहुंच पाता था। उनको चिढाने के लिए हीरा सिंह बोलते थे। की ठाकुर कि मुछे काटकर होम वाले कपड़े पहनकर छोड़ दो होम के लडके ही लगेगे और इस बात से ठाकुर सर चिढ़ जाते थे।

I did not go to the class again and they understood why other boys do not go to their class to learn welding.  His height was small.  And he always came by bicycle.  His legs could not reach the cycle.  Heera Singh used to tease him.  That Thakur would cut his mustache and leave the clothes of home, the boys of the home would look like this and Thakur sir used to get irritated by this.
