रात को ही गार्ड केटर टेकर भागे हुए लड़कों को पकड़ने के लिए लिकल पड़े रात को ही थाने में एफआईआर करवाए और लड़कों को ढूंढने लगे सुबह तक करीब ७ लडके पकड़ में आ गए थे। और बकियोंकी खोज चल रही थी। सभी लोग जिनकी नाइट शिफ्ट थी वो सभी लोग न्यू दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन और ओल्ड दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन से लेकर आस पास के सभी जगह ढूंढने में लगे थे। कई लड़कों ने अपना हुलिया है बदल लिया था। बाल मुंडवा लिए थे। कपडे चेंज कर लिया थे। लेकिन सभी लोगो के पास फोटो थी। तो आसान था पहचानना जो पकड़ में आए थे। उनकी होम में अच्छी तरह से खतिरदरी हो रही थी। और पूछे का थे।बकी उनके साथ जो भागे थे। वे खा छुपे है कोई कहता हम सभी अलग अलग हो गए थे भागते समय तो कोई कहता की वो रेलवे स्टेशन पर होगा। जो आता वहीं उनको लात घुसे डंडे बल्ले से मारता जब तक तसल्ली नहीं हो जाती। होम से लड़कों को भागे हुए तीन दिन हो चुके थे। गांधी जी अभी भी रेलवे स्टेशन पर जा कर लड़कों को ढूंढ रहे थे। गांधी जी को दूर से थोड़ा कम दिखता था।
गांधी जी को एक लड़का दिखा स्टेशन पर बैठा हुआ गांधी जी उसके पास जाकर बोले की तू नरेला होम से ही भागा हुआ है। तो उसने कहा नहीं में तो नहीं भागा कही से फिर गांधी जी ने कहा मै नरेला होम से भागे हुए लडके ढूंढ रहा हूं। गांधी। जी ने उसको कुछ फोटो दिखाया फोटो देख कर उस लडके ने कहा ठीक है गांधी जी जैसे ही मुझे दिखेंगे होम के नंबर पर कॉल कर दुगा इतना सुनते ही गांधी जी ने उसे पकड़ लिया और बोले तुझे तो मैंने नाम ही नहीं बताया तो केसे जनता है मुझे।
