साल में एक दिन ऎसा था जिसका इंतजार हर लड़के को होता था। वो दिन था क्रिष्ण जन्माष्टमी यही एक ऐसा त्यौंहार था जिसका नाम हर लडके के जुबान पर होता था। एक महीना पहले से लडके अपनी अपनी कुटी को सजाने लगते थे। साथ ही मन्दिर जो हर कुटी में होता था। इन दिनों सभी कुटी की आपस में सबसे होड़ लगी होती थी। सबसे ज्यादा सुन्दर दिखने में कागज के झूमर झालर की कटिंग करके कुटी को ज्यादा से ज्यादा सुंदर बनाने की कोशिश करते थे। कृष्ण जी की बड़ी मूर्ति मगाई जाती है जो केयर टेकर लेकर आते है उसके साथ ही पूरे होम को सजाया जाता था दुल्हन को तरह उस दिन सभी लडके सुबह चार बजे ही उठ जाते थे। नहा के नए कपडे पहन कर तैयार रहते कुछ तो एक्साइटमेंट में पूरी रात नहीं सोते और कुछ लडके व्रत भी रखते थे। उस दिन व्रत वालो के लिए स्पेशल सामान व फल मगाए जाते थे। जो लडके व्रत रखते उनका नाम लिख कर ऑफिस में एक दिन पहले दे देते थे। ताकि ऑफिस वाले उनके लिए सामग्री मगा सके उस दिन कोई लड़ाई नहीं कोई किसी को नहीं मारता कोई गलती कर भी देता तो उसे अगले दिन के लिए छोड़ देते उस दिन खाना बनाने वाले हलवाई बाहर से आते पकवान बनाने के लिए खाने में कई प्रकार की चीजे बनती छोले भटूरे पूरी हलवा मुग का कई प्रकार की सब्जी मिठाई में रसगुल्ले ,गुलाबजामुन, घेवर, चार पाच जोड़ी न्यू कपडे , हाथे में बाधने के लिए न्यू घड़ी ,सिटी बजाने के लिए, फल इतने कि पूरी अलमारी भर लेते थे। जो पूरे वीक चलते थे। उस दिन कुछ भी करो फ्री किसी का डर नहीं सुप्रिदेंत सर सभी कुटी का मुआयना करते जो कुटी सबसे सुंदर दिखने उसे इनाम भी मिलता ।
